Life at Kaviyan

34 people in nine countries, one shared timeline.
Shoreditch studio, London
01The role

As a senior frontend engineer on the Editor team, remote in Europe, you will work on Editor Sync and the panel where the five agents run: the timeline view, live previews and the layer that keeps every collaborator in sync.

The stack

A typed front-end codebase, GPU-drawn previews and a CRDT-based sync engine. Rendering runs in workers and in the cloud; the panel stays responsive while both are busy.

How we ship

Weekly releases, feature flags and a short written proposal before anything large. First project: live previews for Hue.

Reports to

Ravi Menon, Lead Engineer

02What you will do

  • Build and maintain the agent panel and timeline preview features
  • Profile and fix performance regressions before they ship
  • Work with designers on interaction details
  • Improve Editor Sync and the real-time collaboration layer
  • Write tests for the parts that must never break

Five or more years building complex web applications

Deep knowledge of typed front-end code and UI rendering

Experience profiling and optimizing front-end performance

Comfortable owning a feature from proposal to release

Good written communication in a remote team

04Nice to have
